According to the Scriptures, Jesus performed His first miracle at His mother’s request, even though it was not time for Him to begin His ministry. Do not attempt to say that Jesus was being disrespectful to His mother when He called her “Woman.” The Scriptures also tell us that He was exactly like us except He did not sin. Breaking one of the ten commandments is a sin. One of the commandments is “Honor your father and your mother.” Since He never sinned, he could not be disrespectful to His mother. Since He perfomed His first miracle at His mother’s request, why do you think we cannot ask His mother to implore Him for our requests?
